I am the owner and founder of WAIRUA TANTRA (formerly known as Nirvana Healing Room) in sunny Townsville, Australia.

What is the meaning of Wairua and where does it come from?

The Term Wairua is used in Māori culture in my homeland of New Zealand. Wairua (wai=Water Rua= two) is awareness to the two worlds of which we love, the physical and the spirit world of which we return to our ancestral lands.

Wairua is the emotional and spiritual side of a person that remains even when the body no longer exists. This includes the spiritual essence of all beings and creatures of the natural world, including animals, birds, fish and human beings.

Every living thing has a wairua which is connected to the power of the gods. Wairua is also described as a soul or spirit which can be energised or subjected to damage by external factors that can greatly affect a person.

How do I show up to the world?

Well I have dedicated over 12 years to practicing and continually learning various modalities this includes working in some well known day spas like Plant Essentials to which i give so much gratitude for being such a huge part of my journey.

What Am I passionate about?

My deep passion for hands-on healing drives me, and I believe this is my purpose in this life. I now live in complete alignment with my true sacred self, which I express through my offerings.
